MICHAEL TALLINO earned a M.M. in Opera Performance from Arizona State University and a B.M. in Music Education from University of Alaska Anchorage. Michael was born and raised in Alaska, performing choral music and opera in Kodiak and Anchorage before pursuing further study in a warmer climate.

Michael began his tenure as Executive Director at the start of the 2023-24 season and has been a member of Helios since 2020.

When not busy singing baritone lines, Michael works behind the scenes to keep everything running as smoothly as possible and ensure the longevity and success of Helios as an organization.
